I don’t think “gone forever” is a stretch because the former Noel factory is completely dismantled & Arcor has sold it off. I think it’s slated to become a bus terminal in the future. Add to that the fact that Arcor already has lots of sweets which are already popular & profitable, so I don’t see a resurgence of Noel any time soon. The thing is that in Argentina, once it’s gone it’s usually gone for good. The people & techniques have probably disappeared by now as well.

If Arcor ever decided to revive the brand, I’ll wager that it’s nothing like the original. But let’s keep that hope alive! Thanks for the comment!

Maybe sales were so low, and the brand wasn’t profitable anymore, and therefore discontinued.

Not sure, but “gone forever” for Noel Chocolate is a stretch.
